The G20 took a lot of ground and money to strengthen sustainable economic development during its biannual summit.
The future of water and sanitation covers eight long term projects supported by the G20 with a total grant value of $2.25 billion.
The pre-convening tour, championed by Earth Summit Summit resolution (1995), "Getting Back to the Planet" and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) , took place in November 2019 . The conference of climate change reduction, adaptation and resilience( COGRAR) conference is held annually in Glasgow, Scotland. The forum of sustainable urban development, where cities around the world take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve urban water and sanitation, has been hosted in September 2020 in Glasgow, Scotland. The forums "Affordable Cities for Emergencies: Oceans, Floods, and the future of cities" and "Health of the Plate" are held annually in Glasgow, Scotland .The global clean drinking water campaign, launched in 2013 by WWF, targets 39 cities to help 6 billion people access safe water by 2030. The campaign was organized by CDP, the international consumer watchdog for corporations, and was founded on the platform of the Global Compact and CDP's Sustainable in Economy campaign.
